For beginners, Mat Pilates is an excellent way to start, as it builds a foundation for body awareness and control
What We Might Use in Class:
In our Mat Pilates sessions, we may incorporate small props such as:
Resistance Bands to enhance strength and flexibility.
Small Pilates Balls for added support or challenge.
Foam Rollers to assist with stretching and balance.
Magic Circles for targeted muscle engagement.
Reformer Pilates is performed on a specialized machine called the reformer, which uses a sliding carriage, adjustable springs, and straps to create resistance. This method offers a low-impact, full-body workout that builds strength, improves flexibility, and enhances posture through dynamic and precise movements.
